What is Game Day?

Once a month Long Beach Geeks gathers to play games.  We offer a wide selection of games brought from home.  They range from the classics from chess to Monopoly to Clue.  But many are a variety of role playing games and card games.  Occassionally we have a Featured Game a fellow geek brings to show case.

Favorites include: Exploding Kittens plus their expansions, Code Names, and Shadows of Camelot.

What is a Featured Game?

Any game can be featured for the month upon request.  It does not have to be new or popular world-wide.  If many have the interest to play the game, offer it to our leaders and they will have it as the feature.

What can I bring?

You can bring most games, however we should remind you there are younger audiences who join us.

There are two things we request when you bring games.  Please understand the rules and are able to teach them to everyone.  Also have the game “out of the box” and not still packaged.  We don’t have much time at the meetings and spending time disassembling is not fun.

Don’t be afraid to bring a new game however, we are happy to try it out!
